Yes, you can make croissants at home! Join Rachel as she walks you through the process of making hand-laminated sourdough croissants from start to finish over the course of this 3 hour class. Topics to be covered include maintaining a sourdough starter, incorporating whole grains into laminated pastry, making a butter block by hand, and mixing, shaping, proofing, and baking laminated pastry dough. We will also discuss other applications for this versatile dough, such as danish, morning buns, and savory pastries.
We will end the evening with snacks and libations (beer and wine included) and everyone will leave with a sourdough starter, fresh croissants, recipes, new friends, and the knowledge needed to make sourdough croissants at home.
*Ages 18 and up. Classes are non-refundable but they are transferable. If you are unable to attend the class, please reach out so we can arrange for you to take a class at another time or so your spot can be transferred to a friend. Thank you!
